Insurance
Each au pair is covered by a basic health insurance plan.
There is no cost to the au pair for this coverage. A few key
features of this coverage are:
A $100 deductible for each illness.
Maximum coverage of $50,000 for medical treatment.
For the specific details of this coverage, please refer to
the basic insurance policy handbook, which you will receive
upon arrival at your host family. Your agent has copies of
this plan available for your review.
Insurance Upgrade
In addition to the basic health insurance plan provided to
each au pair; goAUPAIRŪ also offers a supplemental Health and
Accident Policy through World Inter Partner. Several features
of the supplemental policy are:
- Unlimited coverage for physician, hospital care, and
prescription medication. (with the exclusion of routine
visits and checkups.) No deductible.
- Optional Third Party Liability Coverage can also be
obtained under the upgrade.
